About Fort Walton Beach
Fort Walton Beach is located on the Inter-Coastal Waterway of the Gulf of Mexico, west of Destin, FL and east of Navarre. Home of Eglin AFB and Hurlburt Field AFB, Fort Walton Beach has a rich history and long standing tradition as a military community. Fort Walton Beach has ample accommodations, shopping, restaurants, night life and family activities, including the beach community of Okaloosa Island.
